Is any fruit prettier than an apple? A summer’s worth of sunshine and warmth and soft rain given physical form, every one different from every other, each a work of art.
The design is a detail from a photograph I took of an apple that feel from a wild-growing tree in eastern Maine. It’s printed as a halftone, which uses tiny dots and a handful of colors—think Warhol silkscreens or vintage comic books—that appear as smooth gradients and a rich palette.
Available in 28” cotton voile—light but crisp, perfect as a bandana, neckerchief, headscarf, table linen, or wall art—or a 36” sheer georgette scarf made from recycled polyester.
